- CURRENT / FUTURE EVENTS:
Club Meetings
- Club meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month, and start at 8:00 PM.
The meetings are held at the club, and all members are welcome and encouraged
to attend. There is no meeting during the month of September.
- Annual Meeting - The election of Officers and Board Members will occur at the
annual meeting on December 11, 2012 at 8:00 PM. Club members must be
present to vote.
Junior Rifle Club
- The 2011-2012 Junior Rifle Club will begin on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 6:30
PM. The program will run for 8 sessions, and there will NOT be a shoot on Friday,
December 23. Anyone 10 to 19 years old is welcome to come and learn safe
handling of firearms. Participants will learn to shoot three position rifle in the NRA
American Rifleman Qualification Program, geared toward young shooters. Rifles
and ammunition will be supplied. Call Jeff Herald at 330-317-3477 with any

PAST EVENTS:
CCW Classes
- Bill Roe and Mark Jeffery held CCW Classes at the club on January 21, 2012,
November 19, 2011, and September 17, 2011. Contact Bill at 330-465-7630 or

Trap Shoots & Leagues
- Practice Trap Shoots were held every Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM starting March
1, 2011. These shoots were open to the public and the cost was $3.50 for 25 birds.
- Several ATA Shoots were scheduled for 2011. Click on the link below for more

- The Fall Trap League shot every Monday evening from September 12, 2011
through November 14, 2011.
Sheriff's Department Shoot
- The Wayne County Sheriff's department held a shoot on the outdoor range on
Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
M1 Garand Fun Shoot
- An M1 Garand Fun Shoot was held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 on the 100 yard
range.

Club Cleanup Day
- Boy Scout Troop 61 was at the club on Saturday, June 18, 2011 to mow, paint, trim
trees, etc. Thank you Troop 61!
Boy Scouts
- Boy Scout Troop 61 held a shoot at the club on Saturday, April 16, 2011.

Senior 3-Position Smallbore Rifle Club 2010-2011 Season
- Beginning Tuesday, November 9, 2010 the team competed in 20 weekly Northwest
Ohio Rifle League (NWORL) matches through mid-April 2011. 15 of the 20 dates
were fired at the New Pittsburg Sportsmen's Club beginning at 7:00 PM on

Senior 3-Position Smallbore Rifle Club 2009-2010 Season
- The Team won the Northwest Ohio Rifle League (NWORL) for the fifth consecutive
year with a 19-1 record. They were undefeated the prior four seasons.
- Out of 60 shooters in the NWORL, New Pittsburg placed four shooters in the top
ten:
- 2nd Garald Wise 297.5 average
5th Rob Saurers 293.5 average
6th Dennis Wise 291.9 average
8th David Willett 290.1 average

Junior Rifle Club 2010-2011 Season
- The 2010-2011 Junior Rifle Club began on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 6:30
pm. Anyone 10 to 19 years old was welcome to come and learn safe handling of
firearms. Participants learned to shoot three position rifle in the NRA American
Rifleman Qualification Program, geared toward young shooters. Rifles and
ammunition were supplied.
On Monday, March 21, 2011 the action at the indoor range was hopping. The final
night of the Junior Rifle Club had plenty of fun and surprises for all. Everyone was
ready for keen competition, but they had no idea what was coming. Shooters
competed using their best marksmanship with the added twist of including memory
and math! When the "smoke" cleared and the range was closed for the last time, a
good time, good shooting, and prizes were had by all.
- Competition #1 - 12 bull memory shoot. Final decided in a three way shoot off.
1st place - Drew Judson $25 gas card
2nd place - Nick Hinton Air Soft Pistol
- Competition #2 - 12 bull target memory shoot with math. Final decided in a three
way shoot off.
1st place - Taylor Eliot $25 Red Lobster card
2nd place - Kyle Hinton Squirrel target pack
Competition #3 - 12 bull memory shoot with inverted target.
1st place - Taylor Eliot Ground hog target pack
2nd place - Drew Judson 25 yd rifle target pack
Safety Rules Knowledge Contest
